In 1971, when I was 12 years old and in 7th grade at Green Meadow, I vividly remember the first Fall Fair, then known as the Fall Bazaar. It was a three-day event full of anticipation and excitement. As students, we worked hard setting up, busing tables in the cafe, and mingling with family and friends. Back then, it was one of the year's biggest events, drawing in the entire community. It has evolved over the past 53 years into a single-day fair, but its spirit and importance remain equally strong today.
This year, you can experience the magic yourself—picture pressing fresh apple cider 🍏, carving pumpkins 🎃 with your kids, and scaling trees 🌳 for a thrilling adventure. Test your skills with balloon darts 🎯 and carnival games 🎪, and witness the joy in your children’s eyes as they watch enchanting puppet shows 🎭. For the little ones, the heart-pounding Dragon Run 🐉 promises a burst of energy, while the nostalgic hay ride 🐴 winds its way through the vibrant, autumn-kissed school grounds, offering a moment of peace and beauty 🍂.
That’s not all! You’ll enjoy a lineup of incredible musical performances 🎶, setting the perfect backdrop for the day. Browse dozens of craft and gift vendors 🛍️ offering handmade treasures you won’t find anywhere else. And don’t forget to stop by the student exhibit 🎨, where the creativity and talent of Green Meadow students will be proudly displayed.
